Neighbourhood Church is a growing church of ordinary people –
each one of us gifted by God to play our part in the healthy functioning of our church community.
Our heart is for each person who calls Neighbourhood their home to be plugged in and using their gifts in church life. There is no hurry to get involved, but everyone who calls it home can have a role to play.
Leadership
Some of us are gifted and equipped to serve in a more leading and administrative capacity. At Neighbourhood this is our pastors, our leadership team and our trustees - together, they serve the whole church family, prayerfully and lovingly bringing their gifts to bear in a way that enables the whole church family to flourish.
Our Pastors
Simon Lang - Pastor
Simon has been the pastor of Neighbourhood Church since starting it in their back room 15 years ago. He’s lived in Beckenham since he was 3, and has a heart for helping people learn what it means to follow Jesus. He’s married to Joy, and together they have three girls.
Dan Leeves - Assistant Pastor
Dan joined Neighbourhood Church as Assistant Pastor at the start of 2021. Dan helps oversee our kids & youth work, serves on the teaching and worship teams, and loves helping people grow in their faith and love for Jesus. He’s married to Sarah and they have 4 kids.
Lesley Nunes - Associate Pastor
Lesley has been a member of Neighbourhood Church since soon after it began as a house church. She has been involved in various aspects of Neighbourhood life, including teaching and being part of the leadership team. Lesley comes from Australia and has lived in Croydon since 2005. Lesley is married to Roy and they have 2 daughters.
