We want to be communities of people committed to living out our faith in the neighbourhoods and networks of relationships in which God has placed us. We want to be people and communities who are known for love, for kindness, for compassion, for service and for grace. We want to be communities where people feel safe and welcome – where they can come and enter into friendship immediately....where no question is a stupid question....where whatever stage of faith you might be at you’re welcome. Somebody a lot wiser than us, once said, that churches are supposed to be communities of hope – giving a little taste of all that God has one day in store for all who are connected to Jesus.
We want to be people who live, sleep, and breathe the love that God has for others. We’re not doing what we’re doing because we want to be inward-looking ‘holy huddles’ of Christians – we want to be a church...churches...communities...that partner with God in showing and declaring the love of Christ to a needy world.
